Always on the lookout for trends, Progi has been working in recent months to better understand the certification process in the automotive world. This process requires considerable and sustained investment on the part of collision shops, which must acquire the necessary equipment and regularly train their employees in the manufacturers’ requirements. Since certification must be renewed annually, the validity of the information represents a major challenge in the process. Progi has seized the opportunity to provide the automotive repair industry with a feature designed to promote OEM certifications and ensure their reliability.
With this new feature, collision shops can promote their OEM certifications to their insurer and network partners directly in ProgiSync, an easy and convenient way to highlight their investment. Insurers, for their part, can assign work more efficiently to qualified collision shops depending on the vehicle to be repaired.
Diane Chaîné, President of Progi, adds that
“certifications have been on Progi’s radar for years. We knew that this trend would increase over time. In this sense, several initiatives have been launched in our solutions in the past. We’re now moving on to the next stage, enabling collision shops to display their certifications directly on the ProgiSync platform and insurers to easily assign work requiring certification within their network of suppliers. We salute the continuous improvement efforts of the workshops that are taking up the challenge of OEM certification.”
This fee-based feature of ProgiSync is aimed at all certified collision shops, their networks and vehicle damage insurers. Interested collision shops and networks are invited to contact Progi customer service today. Insurers can obtain more information by contacting their Progi representative.
