What is EZ-Route?

EZ-Route is a software widely used by automotive recyclers. It is specially designed to manage and track part deliveries to your customers.

An Internet platform allows to dispatch delivery locations by truck. The delivery driver can also see the route and the parts to be delivered directly on his phone. Managers can also consult their carriers’ stops and movements in real time.

How Does EZ-Route Integrate with ProgiPac?

All your operations are already carried out in ProgiPac. Therefore, integration with EZ-Route is essential for sharing invoiced parts that require transportation.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Progi will help you configure EZ-Route for your company and branches. However, you must determine the number of carriers to be integrated. Depending on your EZ-Route agreement, you have a fixed number of trucks.

2. See the page Delivery planning (Invoicing tab) and click on a carrier to plan its deliveries. To add invoices requiring delivery, enter their number and click on Add. The Proposals tool can suggest closed invoices that have a carrier and/or delivery date.

3. When your list is ready, click on Send to EZ-Route. The sent to EZ-Route date and the In delivery status will be added. This information will be transferred to the invoice.

4. Access the EZ-Route platform’s Routing section to plan your routes. Parts and all invoices for a customer are grouped into 1 stop for your delivery driver. By default, EZ-Route optimizes the stop order, but you are free to customize it.

When your delivery dispatch is done, click on Publish. The routes will then be visible in the Tracking section.
