On October 31st, 2016, Progicians settled in their new downtown Trois-Rivières headquarters amidst the renovation work. Once the construction finished, they officially inaugurated the premises by inviting some 300 guests to a housewarming event on the 7th of last June. “ProgiPlex” is the nickname Progicians give to their newly renovated building.
Formerly home first to the Nouvelliste, then to the CLSC des Forges, the ProgiPlex is now a modern office building, inspired by interior design trends from Montréal, the Silicon Valley and obviously added its own personal touch. Located downtown Trois-Rivières, the new offices are close to shops and boast their own parking space.
The building was purchased to support the company’s amazingly rapid growth while keeping the future one in mind. The ProgiPlex can effectively accommodate twice as many Progicians who also use the place for a variety of activities such as yoga classes, video game tournaments, ping-pong, poker, watching fireworks from the rooftop terrace, happy hour, etc. The Young Chamber of Commerce recently used it to host their After-job event.
Jean-François Potvin, Design and Functional Analysis team leader at Progi, mentions that the ProgiPlex is designed as more than a simple modern office. It also represents the company’s values: “The offices, all glass and opened, are also a sign of transparency, of our open-mindedness, and of the importance of teamwork and collaboration. Here, the door is always opened. It is more than a working environment, it’s a living environment!”
If you haven’t had the chance to visit the ProgiPlex, the team invites you to do so virtually by watching our Holidays video.
Happy Holidays!
