Phautopak is a system for buying and selling damaged and stolen/recovered vehicles.

Most of the vehicles featured on our network are total loss vehicles from insurance companies.

  1. When joining Phautopak, you become a "keeper" and you are charged with towing vehicles from insurance companies and storing them in a secure compound, as well as completing a brief digital file.
  2. After it is settled with the insured, each vehicle is put up for bidding, and any recycler from the network can place a bid. This method gives you access to a large choice of vehicles, inside and outside of your region, which makes it easier to manage your purchases.
  3. If you are the highest bidder on a vehicle, you become its buyer. When no bid is recorded for a vehicle you are storing, you become its buyers as well, but for a minimum percentage. Keeper fees (towing and storage) are covered by the buyer.

Phautopak also allows you to place your own vehicles on sale on the network. Your vehicles are offered to other auto recyclers, as well as to the public on the Phautopak.com website. Your vehicles can also be offered on your own website -- ask us for more information!
